Sworn translations - Sworn Chinese Translation Agency
Sworn Chinese translations and Chinese interpreting
Every translator that is sworn in by the courts has the authority to deliver a certified or sworn translation. Becoming a sworn translator requires meeting certain criteria. The swearing cannot take place if the criteria are not met.
A sworn translation includes a declaration (concluding section) by the translator that is confirmed with their signature and stamp.
We currently provide sworn translations in the following language combinations:
- Dutch → Simplified Chinese
- Dutch → Traditional Chinese
- Simplified Chinese → Dutch
- Traditional Chinese → Dutch
We regularly do sworn translations of the following documents:
- Certificates of conduct
- Diplomas and marks lists
- Birth certificates
- Marriage certificates
- Declarations of unmarried status
- Divorce certificates
- Death certificates
- Extracts from the municipal personal records database
- Passports
- Chinese or Dutch driving licenses
- Extracts from the Chamber of Commerce
- Notarial deeds
- (Private) loan agreements
- Powers of attorney
In addition to doing the sworn translation, we can also get the documents legalised for you. All you have to do is send us the original documents and we’ll take care of the rest. We do the sworn translation, get all the stamps required for the legalisation and send you the legalised documents by registered mail.
